Vic & Margaret Ball Internship AwardsThe Vic & Margaret Ball Internship Program offer students the opportunity to gain hardheaded floriculture / gardening experience while preparation at a commercial yield greenhouse or greenhouse . Students will intern away from base for three , four , or six - calendar month point , and upon culmination of their paid internship , they will receive a scholarship in the amount of $ 1,500 ( three months ) , $ 4,000 ( four month ) , or $ 6,000 ( six month ) .
