I have been gardening for many years in Zone 6 in Kansas . I have over 100 salmagundi of day lily mixed in with other perennial . There is keen gratification in grow beautiful flowers .
Daylily ‘ Doctor Lopez’ . Daylilybreeders are meddlesome produce ever more exciting and elaborate flowers , with complex pattern , ruff , and gimcrackery . The variation is nearly interminable , and of course daylily are one of the easiest chemical group of plants to spring up .

Daylily ‘ Space Coast Royal Ransom ’ . With so many varieties of daylilies being precede , the cultivar names are often very tenacious and strange . Many breeder put the same phrase in all their introductions so that it is easy to recognize their study . Varieties with names beginning with “ Space Coast ” are the creation of Florida daylily breeders John Kinnebrew and James Gossard . It can be well worth ascertain the stock breeder of your favorite varieties , because if you retrieve a stock breeder with similar tastes to yours , you ’ll probably bang a lot of their introductions .
Daylily ‘ Jay Farquhar ’
Daylily ‘ Jane Trimmer ’ . Look how many fat heyday bud there are on that plant . Since each bloom on a daylily only live one day , producing lots and lots of flower buds is central to a large , long - survive show .

Beautiful walk to a littlegarden shed .
It is n’t all daylilies . Lush perennials fill up this seam , while an yearly planter lifted up on a post add together height and drama .
Another striking daylily , with an extraordinarily complex practice .
