Hard work, lots of mulch and compost, and a little prayer have transformed this garden

Loree House shared this beautiful garden , and her key to transform the difficult clay soil she started with :

I live in Ozark , Mo. , and have been here working diligently in this garden for 18½ years . bunch of mud and rocks is what I start with , but with set of grit and voiceless workplace I am felicitous with the ever - ameliorate soil . All thing start with good soil . Surely even living !

I really intend the key for my garden soil is adding the 2 - to-3 - inch layer of mulch each leap and occasionally a 2 - to-3 - inch level of compost that had java grounds . As the mulch and compost have broken down , my dirt has improve , but it has take a farseeing clock time . With a modified budget , I was only able-bodied to do the compost occasionally . The soil in all probability would have improved faster if my budget would have allowed the compost each year , which I was able to buy from a local landscape supplier . The look of my garden tends to change over the years as things get too bountiful or do n’t do well . I also care to sample young plants for newfangled looks , so each class bring newfangled surprisal and novel challenges .

This was my mum ’s prayer for her plant life , and they were always amazing ! So my hubby had this rock made for me , and it has now become the prayer of my garden also . My sister also named her nursery IJNG Greenhouse ( In Jesus Name Grow ) , and she tells all her customers to ensure they pray the same .
