Flower production in these months increase by almost 25 per cent due to optimum temperatures and the toll escalate following increase in demand for decoration in union ceremonies .

Narendra Tomar , who grows Lily and Gladiolus in his 12,000 straight - metre polyhouse in Vikas Nagar arena of Dehradun , read   that he had been supplying flowers worth r 12 lakh per day in April and May month till last year . “ Maintaining the set up of polyhouse without income is a tough project .
