I thought my first year of gardening was hard. Now that I’m trying to decide on tomatoes for this year I’m completely overwhelmed, I need your help…

I fall in love this past summer , but it was n’t with someone tall , dark , and fine-looking . rather , my lover was leggy , leafy , and green . This mystery associate was my ‘ Juliet ’ tomato plant that quickly grew from a small seedling to a mature works . Every time I went out on my porch , my plant was just a minute bigger and my Lycopersicon esculentum were just a bit riper . I was addicted to watching my ‘ Juliet ’ Lycopersicon esculentum and my other vegetables arise . My first year gardeningproved to be a rewarding experience and I end up harvest home tomatoes , potatoes , green bell peppercorn and sweet basil . I am still incredulous , months after , that I contend to keep those plant live . My sense of achievement has turned to excitement about be after my garden for the forthcoming year and , as luck would have it , these winter month are affording me sentence to do just that .

Tomatoes have long been my favorite fruit and the two varieties I grew in my Connecticut ( 6A zona ) garden were inevitably my prized plant life . In add-on to my lawful love , ‘ Juliet ’ tomatoes , I grew a variety only marked as ‘ container ’ tomatoes . This class I hope to grow at least four unlike salmagundi of this flavoursome fruit . I do n’t plan on doing anything fancy with my Lycopersicon esculentum , I ’m not mashing them into paste or drying them in the sunshine . I just require minuscule ones to pop in my mouth powerful off the vine and larger ones to slice up and drizzle balsamy acetum on before I enjoy with a fork and knife .

The other day I received the Tomato Growers Supply Company catalog I requested using ourGarden Catalog Collectorand the choices within the page are overwhelming . From ‘ Early Wonder ’ tomatoes to ‘ Kimberly ’ Lycopersicon esculentum , the list move on and on . Knowing what case of tomato plant to select feels like a plot of chance or for someone more knowledgeable than I.
