I have find a bit behind with blogging as we have been to beautiful City of Bridges for a pre- Christmas jolly .

I was hoping to find ten blooms for December and something pretty for a vase on Monday . But that ’s not really an selection at the second .
But never listen , I grew some prime for dry in my cut back bed this year . So we are not entirely flowerless .
I usedHelipterum roseumand the endearing whiteHelipterum‘Pierrot ’ which has whiteflowers with yellow-bellied and black center . I also used Helichrysum bracteatum . I like Ihadgrown more of these in separate colors now . I also dried a few flowers ofCentaurea americana ‘ Aloha Blanca ’ which you could see in the above motion-picture show . The funny buff -coloured thing chirp out on the left was an experiment to dryBupleurumlongifolium ‘ Bronze Beauty ’ . And I have kept some of thePennisetum alopecuroides‘Hameln ’ from a previous vase . The container with dried chestnut leave is from last year .

I am regretful to offer you withered flowers today but I am not ready for Christmas bling yet . I opt to string up on to my little specter of summer for a while longer .
Cathy , our never-say-die hostess for this meme has picked some of her wanted snowdrop for her vase today . Do go and see .

Lovely shade ! You and Christina have me wondering why I do n’t farm more flowers for dry out myself . I make you may not see it as such but your wintry garden looks beautiful to me , Of naturally , at the moment , I ’m envious of precipitation in any form .
How nice to be able to go back to the future … recall flowers grown and glean in the summertime , and realizing GB that shortly it will be the growing season again . An system that will last for workweek … clever you .
