Flowers of a favorite season
Today we ’re in Carla Zambelli ’s garden , look back at what was bloom for her this outpouring .
Spring is really beautiful this twelvemonth ! I experience like Mother Nature is rewarding gardeners for all of the surplus time we have to expend this year on our garden because of the coronavirus .
Strawberryflowers , full of the promise of juicy yield to come .

The springtime bloom show - stoppers have get — like mypink tree paeony ! This tree peony was a talent from a friend a few age ago . The only thing I jazz is it is really from China . But never a aweary world traveler , this peony is always the first to unfold when others in my garden are still just bud .
Fernswave proudly in the piece of cake .
‘ Gold Heart ’ bleeding heart(Dicentraspectabilis , Zones 3–9 ) has glowing golden - yellow leaves that place upright out against the darkerfoliagearound them , along with the classical pink , pith - shaped blooms .

Hosta‘White Feather ’ ( Zones 3–9 ) is an unusual diverseness with leave that emerge nearly ashen and then flush green after in the season .
I must mention my redrhododendrons . My late mother - in - law had them in her garden , and this is not the await shade in most East Coast gardens . But I liked the estimate of them and sought them out . And I am beaming I did . They add amazing color !
As outpouring parapraxis into summer , the roses begin — the most romantic of garden blossom .

This rich , deep - colored herbaceous peony blossom a trivial afterwards than the tree peonies , but it is just as beautiful .
