Today ’s photos are from Cynthia Blixt in Merriam , Kansas . She says,“My husband built my garden out of some big careen . He mold for a construction troupe and had access to the right kind of equipment to move the rock into a shoe shape . After fill in the get up area with dirt , I did n’t have very much money for works the first year . So , I add a little more each year . The garden is starting to fill in nicely now but I would still like it to be even more full and luxuriant . The major colour employed are majestic , pinkish and yellow . The main perennials of the garden are two butterfly bushes . I seek to use mostly native and/or very hard plants . This area of the land really has extreme point with weather . Last wintertime we had a sight of snow and ice but in the summer the temperature was over 100 degree for almost a month . In line , this winter we have barely had any snow . ”
Beautiful planting , Cynthia ! Keep us post this year . We ’d love to see more photos . Thanks !
