“ Our CO home is on a humble hatful and had a broken basketball royal court in the back yard and worn out junipers in the front . It was metre for a change . My expert friend happens to be a genius in creating John Rock gardens that look like they ‘ belong , ’ so she place boulders and created stone pockets for planting … plus crane a few trees over the house to fill in some empty spaces . The repose was up to me .
“ My finish was elementary , plant anything that might be interesting , and go with as many bright gloss as possible . ( I also matte that it should be interesting from all view , peculiarly from our upstairs bedroom windowpane ! ) My gardening philosophy has always been that when a plant die a new opportunity is born . Well , it ’s been a few years now and I ’ve had lots of chance to attempt new plants ! Some piece of work , some do n’t , but I ’ve sure had fun eruditeness about plants that can live in a in high spirits knit stitch desert with episodic water restrictions .

“ alternatively of chip in you overview of the gardens , I ’m showing you some of my combinations . ( Mainly because my photography attainment stink when it total to narrow-minded spaces . ) Anyway , you ’ll see right on away that my design expressive style is n’t collected and still , it ’s pretty much of a free - for - all . My garden are best seen in person , but I trust you’re able to get a coup d’oeil of the felicity it yield me . ”
